A colleague asked me to come up with a graphic design layout for a piece of motivational text:
Never give anything less than what you are fully capable of doing.
The design was to be framed and possibly painted on a large wall. Color combinations could include purple, blue, green, and/or magenta. My colleague’s favorite color was purple.
Initially, the request was for the design to fit an 8.5 X 11 size page, which I presented to my colleague. But I decided to take it another direction and found the text would fit a diamond shape quite well. This new option stood out as the clear winner.
I did offer another slightly modified version with purple, lilac, and magenta colors. But I think we both preferred the purple, blue, green design.
